Your hike needs to have the following information:
1 - date of hike - such as Saturday December 12th 9:00 am
2 - location of hike - its distance in kms, approx time to do the hike
and it's level of difficulty
3 - the leader's name and contact information - either phone or e mail
4 - calls to the hike leaders should be no later than 9 pm the night before.

Hike suggestions:
1 - Trail Captains - would you consider doing a hike on your section on
a Saturday and or a Tuesday?
2 - If you are new to hike leading, consider doing a hike on the Avon
trail; you probably have hiked it more than once.
3 - and don't forget you can always team up with another hike leader to
get a feel for leading hikes.
4 - Shirley would prefer _no_ mystery hikes -- as our hikers need to
know ahead of time where the hike is going to help our hikers plan their
day.  It will be to the discretion of our hiking scheduler if we have
more than one hike in a day.

Shirley has family obligations taking her out of Province for most of
August and September.
