The 3.5 " circular badge (image to the left) costs $9.00 each and can be purchased by contacting The Avon Trail Treasurer, Burnie, at 519-272-2845. It is a great badge to sew on to knap sacks.
The End-to-End Badge (image to the right) measures 2.75" by 2.25" and costs $7.00 each. You have to earn it by walking the whole Avon Trail from St. Marys to Conestogo. Try to complete this task in one year. NOTE: Before starting an end-to-end, either as an individual or as a group, contact the Trail Co-ordinator and you will be informed of trail closures and re-routes. Check this web site for updates too. Once you have completed your journey, write up a short report on your experience and submit it to: The Avon Trail Box 21148 Stratford ON N5A 7V4 along with your $7.00 (cheque). Best times to do the trail would be April and May and then September to October. Hunting starting in November, is very prominent on parts of the trail, so please refer to the Ministry of Natural Resources web site for dates and locations. The Avon Trail goes through Oxford County, Perth County and the Region of Waterloo, each with their own dates for hunting opportunities.
